Learn moreAt Alpharetta Pet Boarding, your dog isn't just a guest — they're part of the family. From the moment they arrive until the moment you pick them up, every interaction is intentional, caring, and tailored to their personality.
Every dog must provide current vaccination records before their first stay. We keep all dogs safe by maintaining strict health standards.
Dogs are grouped by size and temperament. We never pack large numbers together — quality socialization over quantity.

The questions we hear most from Alpharetta dog parents — answered honestly.
All guests must be current on Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus), and Bordetella (kennel cough) before their first visit. We also strongly recommend the Leptospirosis vaccine. Records must be from a licensed vet and on file at least 24 hours before arrival — email them to info@alpharettapetboarding.com.
Yes — every new dog completes a free 20–30 minute temperament evaluation before their first official stay. This isn't a test your dog can fail. It's how we learn their personality and play style so we can match them with the right group from day one. It's low-pressure, completely free, and most dogs love it.
We send a real photo of your dog directly to your phone — every single day. Boarding guests get a morning update, daycare guests get an end-of-day photo and note. These aren't automated — a real staff member takes the photo and sends it. You can also call us any time during business hours for a personal update. Most parents tell us the daily photo is their favorite part.
No breed restrictions. We evaluate every dog as an individual — temperament and behavior matter, not breed. The Meet & Greet is how we make that assessment fairly. If group play isn't the right fit for a particular dog, we'll be honest with you and talk through the best options.
48 hours' notice for daycare, 72 hours for boarding — fully refunded within those windows. No booking fees, no deposit required to reserve. Last-minute cancellations under 24 hours may incur a 50% fee. Life happens — just call us as early as you can and we'll work with you.
For regular weekday daycare, 2–3 days is usually enough. Weekends: at least 1 week. Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, July 4th, Memorial Day): 2–3 weeks minimum — these fill completely fast. Extended stays of 7+ nights should be reserved at least 2 weeks ahead. When in doubt, reach out now. We can hold a spot and you can confirm details later.
Spaces are limited and fill quickly, especially for weekends and holidays. Don't wait until the last minute.
